The Brunch At The Coop
We could not have picked a better day to have the Brunch At The Coop, the weather was just perfectl!
Sous chef Dave picking fresh organic greens for the salad that was topped with our homemade goat cheese.
Getting the drinks out and chilled
The tables are set...
The chef and my husband David, slices the quiche that he made from our own chicken eggs.
(We'll have a post on Quiche Lorriane and it will include his recipe.)
Linda and Suzy serving up the homemade lemon bars made with ingredients from our Boho Farm.
My sweet friend Jill Green from Sweet Life Garden and I doing a fruit tree planting demonstration
The girls were on their best behavior and except for the hawk circling the backyard, they had a good time too!
Answering gardening, chicken, fruit tree and compost questions and listening to stories
We all had such a great time eating the "fruit" of our urban farmyard and hopefully our joy, knowledge and passion for eating out of your own garden is contagious and those who came to our little urban Boho Farm on Saturday will join us in eating from their yards too! And don't worry, if you didn't get to join us this year, you can go next year because it was so much fun we want to do it again!
Our next event is our Farmers Market/Flea Market from 8am to 1pm on Saturday, April 2. Put it on your calendars and join us! it is going to be fun!
