Pick your own fruit at BOHO Farm

We had a very busy May around the farm and now it is June,
I am finally able to sharing some of the many events!

We had an open farm morning for people to come and tour the gardens, coop, potager,
meet the girls, and pick their own fruit. Our farm stand was stocked with our homemade jams,
cheeses, organic heirloom plant starts, fresh herbs and just picked organic produce.

Kids young and old came and picked fruit...It reminded me of going to Michigan
in the summer when I was a child and how I loved to pick and eat the fresh fruit.
I have such fond memories of those days and I saw that same joy
and memories on these children's faces.
Maybe they'll want to be city farmers too some day!

The Farm Stand was packed with all our BOHO goodies.

Honey from my dear friend Jill at Sweet Life Garden

My daughter Catherine was showing all the kiddos
our new baby chicks.

It was just a wonderful morning of meeting neighbors and sharing our harvest.

I heard so many wonderful stories of people making pies and jam from our peaches that they picked that day.
To me this is the sweetest thing; you know I think the world would be a better place if more
people picked their own fruit, baked pies and made jam.

If you missed it this year, you'll have to join us for next year's harvest and
we will make memories together!

Thank you to my dear friend Karina of Capturing Delight Photography for these photos.
