When life gives you lemons...

Everyone has these seasons...the ones where it seems like everything is falling apart .  

For us it has been mechanical device break down: The dishwasher, the washing machine,

our bathroom sink, both cars in the shop and it

 makes me want to scream..."everything is breaking down!"

And that is the truth, everything IS breaking down! 

It's the second law of thermal dynamics...increased entropy.

Then add in a little planned obsolescent and its a recipe for

a contestant struggle for permanence of my stuff.

I have to keep remembering it is only stuff...queue the George Carlin

stuff video.

But, bodies, relationships, and nature are breaking down too...and that

reality is harder to accept. :) 

So desiring to adjust my perspective to cultivate the reality that all thing

will be renewed and restored,

the old adage "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade"

is my mission because the kiddos are home for

spring break and I want to have fun with them and not be burdened

by the breaking of stuff.

So this morning we started off with pancakes.

Pancakes make everything better!
